In Uganda they have 1.2 million people with Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). HIV causes Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS). A disease in which there is a severe loss of the body's cellular immunity, greatly lowering the resistance to infection and malignancy. This is just one example of the many diseases and sicknesses in Uganda.

      Not all are incurable, some so easy for us in America, Europe, and Canada to cure. I'm not saying were the only ones out there with good medication plans out there (they are examples). One of the major, curable, sicknesses in Uganda is malaria. Malaria is an intermittent and remittent fever caused by a prozoan parasite that invades the red blood cells. There are medications to prevent Malaria, if we do something as simple as donating a couple dollars to a charity or a organization we could help them a lot.

      Joseph Kony, some of you might have heard of him. He is the leader of a Ugandan guerrilla group. The Lord's Resistance Army (LRA). The LRA lives and operates in Uganda. He turned on his supporters supposedly to "purify" Acholi people and turn Uganda into a theocracy. Kony ordered the abduction of children to become their personal slaves and warriors. In 2005, he was charged for war crimes and crimes against humanity. Kony has been invading capture ever since.

     But none of that can stop us from pulling him out of his reign in Uganda. There is a non-profit organization that is trying to get Kony to subdue him. Its name, Invisible Children Inc. If you belive me, check this site out, you might learn quite a bit like i did.
